Earlier this summer, Café Ama was gladly surprised when a large coffee order was placed from Chicago, using our amazing ambassador Karina Mendez's code! Carreon is a Chicago native, and founder of Make It Happen Personal Training, LLC. "I struggled most of my life being severely overweight and having an unhealthy relationship with food," he told us. After years of well-being challenges, Leo decided to take control of his life.
"I dedicated myself to working out and creating healthy eating habits. In the process of losing 200 lbs., I developed a passion for health, fitness, and nutrition. After achieving my own life-changing goals, I knew I wanted to share this experience and motivate others do the same. That’s when I decided to become a certified personal trainer," Carreon shared. And so, Make It Happen came to life!
Leo enjoyed our coffee so much and identified with our mission of empowering others, he approached us for ongoing collaboration.
"Like many members of the Latinx community, I was first introduced to café con leche by my abuelita as a child," he explained. Now, Carreon enjoys two cups of black coffee a day!
