Mother and Daughter start an impact circle

Magic happens when passion and effort come together for a good cause. Today, we are pleased to announce that your purchase of our Mother's Day Special Edition yielded fruits to support 290 families in Puerto Rico.

It all started when Janice and Mia, a mother and daughter duo, designed a Mother’s Day card during the COVID-19 pandemic. Amapola, Mia, and Janice teamed up to create the perfect Mother’s Day gift. 200 orders later, we were able to distribute $2,978 in food for the families of our SEEDS program throughout five municipalities in Puerto Rico. 

A multiplying gift

Thanks to you sending a Mother’s Day gift, we were able to use the proceeds to distribute much-needed groceries to the families in our program. Gardening kits with seeds for vegetables and baked snacks were delivered to our students and their families in five communities in Puerto Rico. 

The impacted SEEDS communities were in Toa Baja, Guaynabo, Aibonito, Barranquitas, and Vieques. Thank you for supporting our mission and extending our efforts to those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We thank our partners: Pepsico Puerto Rico,  Friends of Puerto Rico, and Toques de Amor by Mia Isabella, our SEEDS student, who designed signature cards for Mom to complement our Café Ama for Mother's Day.
