Mother's Day 2023: the Best Coffee-Cake Recipe to Celebrate

Delicious Coffee-Cake Recipe for Mother's Day 2023

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup sour cream

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a large bowl, beat butter until creamy. Add sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract, and beat until combined.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, and beat until just combined.
5. In a small bowl, mix together chopped walnuts, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
6. Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared cake pan. Sprinkle half of the walnut mixture on top. Pour the remaining batter over the top and sprinkle with the remaining walnut mixture.
7. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
8. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan and placing it on a wire rack to cool completely.
9. Slice and serve with a cup of Café Ama Love.
